Notepad++ is another (free!) text editor you can use to edit and to compile and interpret your Java code.The installation file for version 5.8 software is located here. The zip file for NppExec, which makes compiling and interpreting your code very easy, is located here.
After installing, you will want need to enter the correct settings in Notepad++.
